Recent News about Payment Data System Breaches - September 15, 2014

To protect you and your money, we are constantly monitoring accounts for fraudulent activity.  

If Midwest BankCentre is informed of customer accounts being compromised as a result of a data breach at a retail merchant, we will contact our customers directly.

Midwest BankCentre Debit and Credit card holders are urged to monitor their accounts closely and report any suspicious activity. We will continue to monitor your accounts, but if something does happen, please know that your card is backed by Visa’s Zero Liability protection* so you won’t be responsible for any unauthorized purchases.

Credit Card Holders: If you notice any unauthorized activity on your Midwest BankCentre Visa® Credit Card you should immediately report it to Visa by calling the number on the back of your credit card.

Debit Card Holders: If you notice any unauthorized activity on your Midwest BankCentre Visa Debit Card you should immediately report it to Midwest BankCentre by calling us at (314) 631-5500 or (800) 894-1350. Someone is available to take your call Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon.

If you are contacting us after normal business hours, please leave a voicemail message or you may use the Contact Us form on our website.

*Visa’s Zero Liability Policy covers U.S.-issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, or certain commercial card transactions.
