Update Regarding Heartbleed Bug - April 11, 2014

Midwest BankCentre takes the security of our systems and confidentiality of customer transactions and data very seriously.

As you may have heard, there has been a newly discovered internet security bug nicknamed Heartbleed. After validation with our technology vendors and a review of our internal systems, we have no evidence to believe that Online Banking is at risk due to Heartbleed.

We constantly monitor and routinely investigate known vulnerabilities as part of our everyday security practices. We also maintain open communications with our
technology vendors and service providers, so you can rest assured that we will keep you informed of any new developments regarding Heartbleed.

Attention Windows XP Users: As you may know, Microsoft is no longer providing updates for Windows XP, but you can continue to access NetTeller and Remote Deposit if you are using the Windows XP operating system.  We strongly urge you to upgrade to Windows 7.
