Payroll cards from Midwest BankCentre* are re-loadable prepaid debit cards that are designed for companies with multiple employees to simplify their payroll function. Payroll cards allow companies to apply employees’ wages to the payroll card each pay period.
Payroll cards are a cost-effective alternative to paper payroll checks, and help employers avoid fraud costs associated with loss and theft of payroll checks.
Employees are able to use the card for purchases at any Visa® location worldwide, as well as access their earnings at ATM or POS terminals. Additionally, for employees with no banking relationships the payroll card eliminates the often-high expenses related to check-cashing merchants.
